Although we are staying near Munich (Wolfratshausen is about 30km south of the city) we haven't spent much time actually in Munich. However we did take a trip into town on one nice day in a quest for the best Schnitzel in the city and to buy some clothes for Samuel who is growing up and out of his current gear. It was also a chance to wander around to look at the city streets and buildings.
The search for Schnitzel took us to a restaurant just north of the city which was highly recommended on TripAdvisor (conveniently close to an English language bookshop too). The schnitzels were certainly good (not great) though they were LARGE.
After our rather filling lunch we strolled into town checking out some of the manmade scenery.
Eventually we made it to the centre of the city where we did our bit of shopping.
And err... that's about all. Sorry our day wasn't more exciting. Don't get me wrong - Munich is a nice city but it's not London, Sydney or New York.
