The weather was kind for our early morning ferry back to Oban. Shamefully, rather than enjoying the view we spent most of the trip on the internet with access having been somewhat limited on Mull.
Our destination for the day was Kinlochleven at the head of Loch Leven not far south of Fort William and Ben Nevis. This made for a short day which was appreciated after a hectic few days on Mull and Iona. We stopped for a short walk before lunch which was perfectly timed to align with the return of the rain though Sam was excited as we found some permanent orienteering markers on our walk (but no map).
Before long the rain had vanished again and the views around Loch Linnhe and Loch Leven were spectacular.
