On our first day in London... we slept in!
However after an easy morning, Eric and Sam decided to let Elise rest while they went to visit the shops.
First stop was Hamleys, the worlds biggest toy shop. Seven whole floors of toys, toys and nothing but toys. Sam was most interested in the Harry Potter toys, drones and other flying remotes, and lego and there was more than enough of all these things to keep him occupied for quite a while.
We saw a few Lego models in Hamleys, but the dedicated Lego store in Piccadilly had even more covering a range of London landmarks.
Before heading home we quickly visited the Foyles bookshop in Tottenham Court Road to pick up some things to read. Then it was time to take the tube back to our apartment. You can meet all sorts of interesting people on the tube...

Having checked out the M&Ms store in New York, we had to see the London version. New York wins! Even the staff member Eric spoke too admitted that the range in London was nowhere as good as the New York version (not even any dark chocolate ones!).
