Today we went for a long walk in Buenos Aires which is a very lovely looking city. It reminds me of Paris, with some of the buildings being similar including having nice iron work balconies. It is clean and beautiful with a large range of parks and green space.
Believe it or not we started our exploration in a cemetery. I have never been any place like it. It is a city of mausoleums, with sculptures and stained glass windows. This is the cemetery where Eva PerĂ³n is buried. It even had stray cats. Eric was probably most interested in the cemeteries potential as a sprint orienteering area with it's plethora of narrow passages.

The modern art gallery, which we visited next, was surprisingly accessible, with many of the exhibits being hands on. We lay on carpeted mounds inside a long oblong room. It was very restful. In another room we all drew and still another had an arrangement of wooden sleepers all over the floor which we could walk on. Another which was less hands on had a pile of tiny pieces of Argentinian money.
The place had an interactive science museum called ‘prohibited not to touch’. Samuel, Eric and I all enjoyed the chance to play with the exhibits. I recognised some from my Questacon days.
